Andria D. Timmer is a lecturer of anthropology in the Department of Sociology, Social Work, and Anthropology at Christopher Newport University. Her research is focused on the manner in which individuals and groups work to enact social change, particularly in regards to food and social inequality. She has taught Food and Culture for six years.
